Unlike a “guardian angel,” the Genii hold within them the essence of all 72 protective angels.
Those born on these days are called Genii in the most Gnostic sense of the word: a direct experience of the Divine; meaning ancient, deep, intuitive knowledge.
They come into the world at the threshold between spiritual cycles, carrying a natural potential for transcendence and cosmic reconnection.
Genii are born with an inner guiding spirit connected to them; a direct emanation from the source that accompanies them throughout their evolutionary journey. They are free souls, with their own unique paths, connected to a more universal and cosmic spirituality. They belong to the time between times. People inwardly linked to the Source, they are intelligences who carry a divine spark that dwells within their being; not as something external, but as an inner light of higher origin.
They are living pillars, incarnated to support collective transformation. Even without intending to, they are guardians of these changes, gifted with the power to transmute, close ancient portals, and open new ones; even when they do not identify with any fixed structure.
Because of this, they often feel lost, oscillating between the experience of the and the void. Many play with chaos as if it were a game from childhood.
They are seen as Genii of the Soul, and as powerful energetic beings, in some spiritual traditions they may be awakened through initiations, spiritual practices, or sacred rituals. For this reason, they must be mindful of the environments they frequent, as they are carriers of universal missions.
As mentioned before, they are not under the direct guardianship of one of the 72 angels but are instead in connection with the All.
Genii stand outside the traditional geometry of 360 degrees (72 x 5 = 360 days). They are born on the days that mark the beginning and the end of each angelic cycle, completing the 365 (or 366) days of the year. For this reason, they do not follow the pattern of a specific angel
Sandalphon is the angel who listens. Guardian of prayers and of the Manifested Kingdom.
He gathers the prayers of the Earth and lifts them to the divine throne, weaving with musical threads of prayer. He is considered the spiritual reflection of the prophet Elijah, transfigured into light.
As Prince of Malkuth, the 10th Sephirah of the Tree of Life, Sandalphon holds the bridge between the spiritual world and matter. He governs the manifestation of light on the physical plane and teaches that everything elevated must first touch the ground.
This is why Sandalphon is the Ruling Prince of the Ishim category, the incarnate angels, human souls on a spiritual mission; those who walk between worlds, bringing light into everyday life and translating the divine into human gestures. He guides these beings because he understands the silence of the Earth, honors the weight of incarnation, and recognizes the living prayer that pulses in each conscious choice.
With him, we learn to trust in the strength of pure intentions, to honor the body as a temple, and to offer our words, gestures, actions, and prayers to the Divine.
I believe the Ishim are awakened souls who silently serve the light.
In different spiritual traditions, many people report feeling an inner calling, a subtle memory, often they are angels who chose to walk among us, offering healing, wisdom, and presence.
The term Otherkin, which appears prominently in modern spiritual circles, refers to people who feel they possess a soul or essence that is not entirely human, such as extraterrestrials or beings from elevated and subtle realms. Although this concept has no direct basis in Kabbalah or traditional theology, it reveals the spiritual diversity of the human soul in its search for meaning.
The term Ishim derives from the Hebrew אִישִׁים (Ishím, plural of Ish, which means “man” or “human being”), and refers to human beings who maintain a living bridge between Heaven and Earth. They are described in esoteric texts as “righteous men,” “hidden sages,” or “incarnated beings of light” who have not forgotten their spiritual mission, even within matter.
To speak of this category is to speak of a silent presence that inhabits our world; sometimes, we remember that we belong to this lineage. They are usually souls who do not know how to name what they are… but have a strong instinct about what they came here to do.
They are not perfect beings or distant from human pain; on the contrary! They are deeply sensitive, empathetic, and sometimes carry emotional burdens and deep pain; an Ishim is not an ego choice, but a soul calling, subtle but impossible to ignore. These beings walk among us: sometimes they listen to us in silence, sometimes they touch us with a word or a gesture.
From an energetic point of view, these souls radiate a specific frequency, subtle but perceptible. The Ishim would be points of vibrational coherence, anchoring elevated patterns in the collective unconscious of humanity.
Modern science, especially quantum physics and epigenetics, is beginning to understand these states of consciousness. Researchers like Rupert Sheldrake, with the theory of morphogenetic fields, suggest that there are invisible structures that organize the behavior of living beings based on collective patterns and resonances.
In neuroscience, scholars such as Dr. Joe Dispenza and Bruce Lipton address the possibility of reprogramming DNA and brain circuits through states of deep meditation, elevated intention, and heart coherence.
Many reports from people with actions similar to those of the Ishim reveal healing abilities, empathic sensitivity, refined intuition, and communication with subtle planes of existence.
These signs are not fanciful or esoteric in a superficial sense, but concrete expressions of an integrated consciousness, which unites heart, mind, and spirit in a single direction: service to the greater good.
The Ishim represent a unique category of spiritual beings. They may act as therapists, healers, artists, teachers, spiritual leaders, or even in seemingly simple roles, yet deeply transformative. They are silent messengers, with a wisdom that often manifests without words.
Unlike celestial angels, who dwell in higher planes and fulfil divine missions among the upper spheres, the Ishim are considered incarnated souls who walk among humans, with a consciousness, awakened or not, of their origin, acting in daily life with compassion and sharp intuition.
Within the structure of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, the Ishim occupy a discreet but deeply significant place. They act in the Sephirá of Malkuth, which represents the Kingdom, the manifest world, and matter in earthly experience.
Although they are not mentioned among the traditional angelic choirs, according to some treatises of mystical Kabbalah and angelology, the Ishim would be the last step of the spiritual hierarchy—not out of inferiority, but due to their incarnational mission. They are associated with the action closest to humanity, with the function of manifesting in the physical plane the wisdom received from the higher worlds.
This mission is guided by the ruling Prince of Malkuth, Sandalphon, guardian of the Earth and mediator of human prayers. Prince Sandalphon is responsible for receiving the prayers elevated by incarnated souls and leading them to the Throne of Divinity. Thus, the Ishim, under his rulership, are conscious incarnations of spiritual service.
Furthermore, some esoteric texts associate the Ishim with the “Children of Light” or the “Initiates of the Soul,” recognizing their stellar or divine origin and their task of anchoring higher vibrations in times of planetary transition.
Although the term Ishim is not explicitly used in the work codified by Allan Kardec, the Spiritist doctrine widely recognizes the existence of incarnated souls on elevated missions, known as missionary spirits or reincarnated superior spirits.
According to The Spirits’ Book, these beings maintain a more conscious connection with the spiritual world and are easily recognized by their serene conduct, just character, and unconditional love for others. These souls come to Earth with specific objectives of moral reform, collective healing, and vibrational elevation of the planet.
They do not impose themselves, nor boast about their virtues; but live according to inner principles, deeply aligned with divine light.
Many spiritual guides, in reliable mediumistic communications, describe these spirits as souls who possess greater lucidity about their mission; who suffer more intensely with the density of the Earth; and who carry with them a pacifying and transformative presence.
In contemporary spirituality, the Ishim are often identified as awakened souls, ancient souls, or beings on a mission; people whose consciousness transcends conventional patterns of the human mind and vibrates in resonance with principles such as compassion, wisdom, and service.
The Christian tradition, in turn, speaks of shepherds, holy souls among men, and spiritual guides; concepts that coincide with what Kabbalah calls Ishim: human beings aware of the divine within, living in the world, but not being of the world. There are many examples cited in the Bible and Christian experience such as the disciples of Jesus.
In Catholicism, they are men now recognized as saints, women of faith, spiritual leaders such as priests, people considered righteous and wise, who dedicate their lives to interceding for others. These figures do not stand out for superiority, but for being deeply committed to divine service and the transformation of the world through love, word, and spiritual presence.
Thus, even under different languages, religions and spiritual schools agree on the idea that there are souls who walk among us with a different light, not because they are better, but because they are in service to God.
Da'at or Daath (usually hidden)
Da'at means “Knowledge” in Hebrew. It is not exactly a Sephirah like the others, but rather a state of consciousness that emerges when there is balance and integration of the Self, a prerequisite for entering the world of the Trinity: Kether (Omnipresence), Chokmah (Omnipotence), and Binah (Omniscience).
Da’at is a passageway between the higher and lower worlds; it is the point on the Tree of Life where knowledge becomes alive, after experiencing all the other lower Sephirot, and where the mind unites with the heart through wisdom and balance. In short, it arises when we attain consciousness of the lower Sephirot, with a purer heart and higher values.
Its nature is paradoxical: although represented at the centre of the ascensional path, Da’at is considered invisible or hidden, as it only manifests through true spiritual integration. It is not acquired by intellectual effort, but through the real experience of unity between reason and intuition.
In many esoteric traditions, Da’at also symbolizes the initiatory threshold. The point where knowledge ceases to be merely theoretical and becomes a living experience. It represents the gateway through which the seeker crosses from knowing to being.
Da’at is connected to the veil between the worlds and, for this reason, many associate it with the Abyss. There is no specific angel directly attributed to it, yet depending on the esoteric tradition, certain names may be linked to it: Raziel, Uriel, or Anubis.
Raziel, Guardian of Hidden Divine Knowledge
Raziel represents the light of wisdom that dwells in the invisible. Bearer of the secrets of creation, he is the one who invites us to remember what the soul already knows.
His name means “Secret of God,” and his presence activates spiritual memory, heightened intuition, and the reconnection with divine purpose.
With him, we learn to trust what is revealed in the inner silence of our intuition.
Uriel, Guardian of Light, of Fire, and Bearer of the Voice of God
Uriel is the burning intelligence of truth. His flame illuminates consciousness, bringing discernment, clarity, and direction in moments of darkness.
He is the one who announces, awakens, and guides. His fire does not burn, it transforms.
With him, we learn to listen to the truth with courage and to take a stand with love and divine justice.
Anubis, Guardian of the Gateways and of God's Mysteries
Anubis is the lord of transitions. He is not only the guide between life and death, but also the Guardian of the sacred passage, of transmutation.
He weighs our heart against the feather of truth, reminding us that every passage is an initiation, a rebirth that occurs when we embrace all that we are and allow our soul to lead the way.
With him, we learn to face our shadows with love, transmute them into light, and walk toward the wholeness of our being.
